- WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?
- Extreme weather events and wildfires are growing in frequency and severity
- Shifting rainfall patterns are affecting forest productivity and reforestation
- Biodiversity loss is threatening ecosystem resilience
- Sea-level rise and warming oceans are putting coastal forests and communities at risk
- Rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Accelerate the transition to renewable, low-carbon energy and materials
- Remove CO₂ from the atmosphere through scalable, nature-based and technological solutions
- Sustainable timberland management
- Renewable energy infrastructure
- Mineral stewardship for green technologies
- And scalable climate-positive land use solutions
At E.I Trust Global, we understand that climate change is the defining challenge of our time, impacting ecosystems, economies, and communities across every region where we operate. As a company launched in 2025 with roots in Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States, our mission is directly shaped by the escalating risks posed by a warming planet.
Rising global temperatures are already disrupting the stability of natural systems:
These impacts also ripple through society, placing pressure on food systems, water resources, public health, and economic stability.
To avoid the most devastating outcomes, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has made it clear: we must limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Meeting this target requires urgent and collective action to:
As a new-generation natural capital company, E.I Trust Global is rising to this challenge by investing in:
We are committed to building climate resilience across our portfolio, delivering environmental, social, and financial returns for a changing world.

As a next-generation land and resource company, E.I Trust Global is not only managing the risks of climate change, we are mobilizing natural systems as part of the solution. Through sustainable forestry, renewable energy, and regenerative mineral development, we are creating a more resilient future for all.As a next-generation land and resource company, E.I Trust Global is not only managing the risks of climate change, we are mobilizing natural systems as part of the solution. WHAT IS OUR ROLE?
At E.I Trust Global, we believe the greatest challenges of our time also present the greatest opportunities for innovation, leadership, and regeneration. Founded in 2025 with a mission to steward and scale climate-positive natural assets, we operate across the UK, Luxembourg, Canada, and the United States, managing forestlands, renewable energy infrastructure, and mineral resources in service of a more sustainable future.
As a global natural capital company, our role in confronting climate change is both strategic and essential. We are uniquely positioned to help mitigate the crisis while building long-term value, through three core commitments:
1. Harnessing Forests for Carbon Removal
We manage large tracts of sustainably certified forests across North America and Europe, where trees naturally capture and store CO₂ as they grow. These forests form a powerful carbon sink, removing more emissions annually than are released through harvesting. Through replanting, natural regeneration, and adaptive forest management, we maintain a closed-loop carbon cycle that contributes to global emissions reduction targets.
Each wood product we produce, either directly or through our supply chain, locks in that carbon, creating long-lived, low-emission building materials. And with each harvest, we reforest, ensuring that our landscapes continuously support the carbon cycle and help stabilize the climate.
2. Producing Low-Carbon Energy and Materials
Our portfolio includes renewable energy projects, such as wind and solar installations co-located on working lands, and critical minerals that support the green transition. By integrating timber, energy, and resource management, we provide the foundational materials for a low-carbon economy responsibly sourced, traceable, and regenerative by design.
3. Building Climate Resilience for People and Planet
We recognize that climate change impacts vulnerable communities first and worst. That’s why we invest in climate-smart land use that supports biodiversity, water security, and rural economic development. Whether in the forests of British Columbia, the woodlands of Luxembourg, or the renewable corridors of the American South, we are committed to delivering equitable, landscape-scale solutions that benefit both people and ecosystems.
