We no longer focus solely on traditional safety metrics (e.g., Recordable Incident Rate (RIR)) but shift our attention toward preventing severe injuries and fatalities. This approach allows us to proactively address high-risk areas and take swift action to prevent life-altering incidents.


Contractor Safety

Given the nature of our work, we often rely on contractors to execute projects, whether in renewable energy development, mining, or timber management. Global E.I Trust maintains a strong safety partnership with our contractors, holding them to the same high standards we apply to our internal teams.

We require contractors to have effective safety programs and encourage a collaborative, values-based approach. Our joint leadership visits to job sites emphasize safety awareness and the shared responsibility for hazard mitigation.
